• Hape Prime revealed on Saturday and brought out some opinions from holders and haters. while price ran lower into the reveal, there was a bounce back to around 8e immediately after, but that was not enough to prevent it from sliding lower. rares have gotten scooped, though - the Hape above sold for 99e

  • 4.5e floor | ~8,200 supply | 0.2e mint | minted 1-19-22

• Karafuru launched on Friday (whitelist) and Saturday (public) and has been an instant success, doing over 11,000e in OS volume since. reveal is planned for Thursday, Feb 10 at 10am est

• RTFKT airdropped Clone X holders MNTLHs and Loot Pods over the weekend. the MNTLHs are a bit of a mystery - we don’t know what they are, nor when exactly we’ll find out. Loot Pods function as stand-alone VR rooms or as PodX extensions. this tweet has some more info

• Turf Plots are the successor to the developer’s old “location based monopoly game” by the same name on mobile devices. with a creative look, a proven dev and a unique take on land and location nfts, Turf is worth reading up on

• Cool Monkes launched staking, $CMB token, and boost passes this week. they have an ambitious roadmap designed to reward holders and have delivered rather quickly, but not without gripes. will be keeping an eye on their development over the next few weeks

• Smol Brains and Smol Bodies got airdropped pets on the 3rd and they were live on the Treasure marketplace on the 4th

  • Brains pets: 179 magic | Bodies pets: 174 magic

• Wanderers holders can claim their $dust tokens on Monday. $dust will continue to be generated by visiting (or having people visit your) planets and will be spent on NFTs and cosmetics. Wandernauts are expected sometime in March. read more here

• Paris Hilton announced a new nft collection in collaboration with Superplastic. they go on sale tomorrow, more info in the link

• RaidParty held their public mint on the 3rd and the game is planned to go live tomorrow, Feb 7. they also announced they are investigating moving the game on an L2, mentioning StarkNet specifically

• Cool Pets update: Cat holders can mint and the allowlist mint window will start tomorrow, Monday Feb 6, and last 48 hours. public mint will begin Wednesday

• Generative Dungeons is a collection of playable, procedurally generated dungeons. they remind me of rpgs on GameBoy. though they’re not the first to release an nft you can play on OpenSea, the variety of art (and some notable buyers) have created demand

• Legends of Metaterra by Hideo, the artist behind Dino Pals, minted on Art Blocks this week and will be turned into a game. very different from the typical AB collection - maybe we see more of this in the future

• Bud Light dropped a new collection of generative art today. they’ve been pretty good about rewarding holders with access to their future drops, as well as a few notable collaborations. i suspect they have something in store for the Super Bowl

• Mind The Gap by MountVitruvius is the first collection to be featured on gm. studio’s generative art platform. it’s provided a refreshing breather from a market often too focused on things with “utility”

NFT Market Overview:

following record-setting volume last week, the market has slowed down a bit but continues to show strength. volume and unique users over the past few days are in line with trends from before the peak in volume on Feb 1. users are still showing up every day and trading, but are doing so with cheaper collections than on the 1st.
