Announcements and such:
We’re back - a day late, but thankfully didn’t miss much. Midweek articles can be expected Thursday if not Wednesday. The usual blah blah - do your own research, this is not advice, love to get recommendations (but please don’t ask if I’ll write about your project or your bags - I won’t), and of course, come hang out in The One.
I’ve added another line underneath projects for links to socials and websites. As we continue to add more resources to P1, I’d like to reiterate that while all links are double-checked, mistakes can happen, so please stay vigilant.
TLDR:
jpeg goblin town or a temporary lull? Since Bitcoin broke $45,000 early Tuesday morning, collections have tumbled across the board and winners have been few and far between. After CPI numbers came in higher than expected this morning, we’ll probably see at least a few more lackluster days before the frenzy returns.
News and Notes:
Voxel Ville has quietly been building a quality ecosystem over the past few months. A multitude of themes ranging from the beach to downtown Japan gives the collection a sense of variety while maintaining stylistic feel. Yesterday the team announced NFT Worlds integration is on the way as well as a few other teasers.
NFT Worlds have become far more than playable Minecraft NFTs in the months since mint. Collectors can stake and rent their Worlds for $WRLD, which can be spent on perks and content without paying gas. With an ever-increasing number of collaborators, individually customizable maps and a team that delivers consistently, NFT Worlds looks primed to continue growing rapidly.
Kaiju Kingz are headed to Coinbase. Kaijus have made a name for themselves through collaborations and community and will soon expand their ecosystem when Failed Experiments are catalyzed, creating Mutant Kaijus. While a date has not been announced, yesterday’s Rooftop Rampage teaser implies it won’t be too long.
mfers have seen increased interest in recent weeks. the floor has more than doubled since the start of the month and mfer derivatives are beginning to pop up with some frequency. mfers are public domain and founder Sartoshi is known for his sense of humor - two factors that encourage the community to have some fun with these little sideways sketches.

Feudalz, although nowhere near their peak price, continue to expand their universe, which now includes five collections and the $GOLDZ token. While there is a lot going on and many competitors in the P2E sector, the Feudalz team has demonstrated they can deliver with consistency and quality.

Neo Tokyo Outer ID holders competed in a PUBG tournament last weekend for their items, which are now claimable here. Despite teasers of what is expected to be a Blitzball game, there is a tangible sense of unrest amongst holders - particularly S2’s, who are now waiting for word about the next tournament before uploading their Citizens.

Smol Brains and Smol Bodies held a town hall on February 7th, providing a load of information about what’s in the works. Brains and Bodies will be combining their discords in coming weeks, creating a true Smolville. Other topics discussed include utility for pets, qualifications for Founder’s Plots and some teasers about Smolcoin. More info in this thread.
Legions holders have been questing in Bridgeworld for five days now. Since solving the pilgrimage and marketplace issues last week, the Treasureverse has been sailing smoothly and many collectors are enjoying the game. Bridgeworld is a complex ecosystem that requires a good bit of study to understand, but has rewarded some players handsomely already.
New and Upcoming:
Pixelmon sold out their Dutch Auction mint on Tuesday nearly as soon as it started, netting a cool $70,000,000 in the process. Despite an impressive demo, a roadmap that promises to reward holders and an ambitious vision, the secondary price has plummeted and very few public minters have been able to sell for a profit. Pixelmon’s distribution process will likely be a bit of a case study for projects in the future, as it’s huge hype, high initial cost and instant downfall is like nothing I’ve seen before.
Cool Pets had their long-awaited public mint today at noon EST. Despite requiring minters to solve a puzzle before minting, bots still managed to slip through and grab some supply. Cat and Pet holders will be looking forward to leaving this lackluster minting process behind as the game rolls out in coming weeks.
Freaks N’ Guilds is the latest P2E collection to capture The One’s attention. Amongst the things we have come to expect from P2E staking games, FnG aims to deliver PvP battling and “Quest-to-Whitelist” experiences with partner projects.
Lives of Asuna revealed earlier this week. After peaking near 4e about a week ago, the market has had no mercy on these anime waifus, dumping almost 90%. Customizable items and exclusive Asuna-verse music are on the way for holders.
Zoofrenz held their public mint yesterday and sold out quickly. The project is led by Alex Chu, the founder of Zombot Creative, a design studio that has worked with Destiny, Halo and League of Legends. The roadmap includes everything you’ve come to expect - token, 3D Zoofrenz, “metaverse activities” and more.
Invisible Friends announced their mint will take place on February 23rd. With nearly 450,000 Twitter followers and months of build up, IF is potentially the most hyped collection the space has seen yet. For perspective, Mekaverse and Hapebeast, two collections that were highly-anticipated, have ~265,000 and 300,000 followers respectively.
some other stuff worth a look: Karafuru (revealed), Tron Wars, The Long Lost, Beans
NFT Market Overview:
It’s gross out here right now. Collections are bleeding and most of the volume in the market can likely be attributed to bargain shoppers picking pieces up as floors fall. The noticeable spike in volume on the 7th is the hour that Pixelmon launched -besides that and a few other projects, the market has been slow for the past few days.
Some notes about charts: these are hourly bar charts, as opposed to the daily bar charts in previous articles. Keep this in mind, as these are influenced by specific events as well as the time of day across the world. Because charts are grabbed directly before publishing, the final bar is probably incomplete.
