Announcements and such:
Not much besides the usual from me today - buzz me on Twitter (or in The One) with feedback or suggestions, as we’re constantly looking for ways to improve. We’ve got a few things in the works that I’m excited about, but it’ll probably be a few weeks before they’re ready for the genpop. And of course, hit the button below and come hang out.
TLDR:
Some familiar faces have popped up this week with new updates, Crypto Twitter is abuzz with a new anime project, Kaijus keep it cryptic, Wassies are for the people, Treasure is releasing a new 4,000 page whitepaper and Minecraft continues to be the only real metaverse.
News and Notes:
Crypts and Caverns, a collection of generative dungeons, announced they will be collaborating with Realms to integrate the dungeons into the wider Lootverse. Realms has gained attention in the past few weeks (including a shoutout from a guy who knows a thing or two), partially due to the impressive yield they provide in $LORDS. C&C and Realms are both intricate projects - read more on Realms here.
Eye of the Syndicate was acquired by some lucky Rooftop Rampage players earlier this week. While Kaiju Kingz confirmed that Eye of the Syndicate is related to Kaijus (albeit through a cryptic announcement), nothing else is known about what role the Eye will play in the future.

Huxley Comics released the second of six planned comics on February 12th and saw increased demand for avatars and comics. Created by Ben Mauro, a concept designer who has previously worked on Halo, Call of Duty, The Hobbit and more, Huxley is an expansive NFT ecosystem containing physical and digital comics and multiple avatar collections, including Robots and an upcoming Humans collection.
Mutant Cats, one of the first DAO collections from last fall, was back on the top sales charts yesterday. They recently announced they are in the process of incorporating and legitimizing the project. While many initially doubted the project would execute, they appear to be doing just that. The DAO vault holds multiple Apes, Mutants, and Cool Cats as well as one Fidenza and a CryptoPunk.
RaidParty launched a beta version of their game and selected holders have been able to play. The full game is scheduled to be released on Saturday, February 19th.
Wassies by Wassies (formerly known as loomlocknft) announced a rebranding alongside their new roadmap. The new name and roadmap shifts the project’s focus directly to the community: a community grant fund has been established to fund new projects, royalties are being redirected to the grants pool and the team is slowly transitioning from a decision-making role to an administrative function.
World of Women has partnered with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine to create movies and TV shows around the WoW universe. They will also host live events with other diverse, women-led NFT projects to educate women about the space.
Recent Launches:
Cameo Pass had their public mint tonight. Created by Cameo (the same one that makes Hard Rock Nick one of the richest men in the world) in collaboration with Burnt Toast, Vinnie Hager and Luke McGarry, the pass gives holders access to various future drops and events.
Hero Galaxy is the latest collection to build directly on top of NFT Worlds. Heroes act as in-game avatars inside the various Minecraft servers, known as “Battle Planets,” where players can compete for rewards. Players will earn $WRLD for playing the game, but Heroes can also be staked to earn $WRLD passively. Reveal is planned for February 22nd.
Sheet Fighter, a P2E collection of “100% on-chain fighting spreadsheets” generated with GPT3, has had the most sales in the past 24 hours. An interesting spin on staking games, Sheet Fighters each have an attack, defense, critical and heal move. Rarities include job titles (“Intern”) and different types of paper stock (“Matte”). Holders can stake them for $CELL token.
The Weirdo Ghost Gang minted a week ago and seen 2,000e of volume so far, frequently appearing on top sales charts throughout the week. Hand-drawn by Sleepy, the Ghost Gang certainly falls under the cute pfp category, but does so with a refreshing art style and familiar yet unique traits.
Other stuff worth a look: Candy Hunters, MindFulls, Meta Angels, Pidgies, Skuxxverse

BattleFly, a “defi strategy game powered by $Magic,” has accumulated partnerships with dozens of people and projects across the NFT space. The team has been building and collaborating with TreasureDAO since November and appears to be ramping up for a release in the not-too-distant future.
Life will release their 35 page whitepaper tomorrow, February 18th. Gigachad and fellow The Oner End was announced as the project lead for Life, while Jumpman will lead development of Trove and continue advising Life. The Weather Report updated: there is an ongoing fiasco between WR team and their former artist, Dentin. Yesterday Dentin shared messages with the WR founders and has said WR is copying his art after his departure and without his consent. The WR team has rebutted this claim. Dentin has started his own project, Dented Feels.
This is a messy situation that requires subjective judgement to properly analyze. There are people who believe Weather Report and others who believe Dentin. Page One does not opine on such situations, but I am inclined to provide this update because Weather Report was mentioned in P1#7 and any discussion of the project without covering this debacle would paint an incomplete picture.
NFT Market Overview:
OS saw substantial volume yesterday, thanks primarily to demand for Azuki (yes anime is still cool), Tasty Bones, NFT Worlds and Edenhorde. While the real world continues to deal with issues ranging from geopolitical conflict to inflation, NFT users continue showing up every day and daily transactions are still substantially higher than during the final months of 2021.
In other market news:
X2Y2, a newly launched NFT marketplace, began airdropping $X2Y2 tokens on Tuesday before pausing claims to deal with issues. They hope to have claims open again tomorrow morning. Check out their site and discord for more info.
LooksRare is refunding collection approval costs until February 23rd to encourage users to import their OS listings to the platform. They also announced that users purchasing via Gem will automatically receive $LOOKS rewards.
